Prohibited & regulated materials
Some materials require regulated handling. They are closed to posting on this open marketplace.
Not accepted
Do not list hazardous waste, biomedical or infectious waste, used or waste oil, waste batteries, e-waste, regulated waste tyres, dangerous chemicals, asbestos, radioactive material, explosives, weapons, stolen goods or unlawful substances. Do not disguise these as ordinary metal, plastic, construction salvage or “other” materials.
Restricted categories remain closed
Seeing a category in our catalog is not permission to list it. The server rejects closed-category listings. Opening a regulated category requires a documented authorization, verification, moderation and transfer workflow reviewed against the applicable rules.
Ordinary materials still need care
Non-hazardous material is not automatically suitable for every use. Contaminated packaging, food residue and mixed construction debris may require additional controls. Do not offer food waste as safe animal feed or suitable for human consumption without an appropriate lawful basis.
Check authoritative requirements
Consult current Central Pollution Control Board, Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, state pollution-control board and local authority requirements for the material, location and proposed use. A marketplace listing is not an authorization to handle regulated waste.
