A little less waste. A lot more possibility. Made for India
THE RESOURCE GUIDE

Make your material easier to find—and easier to use.

A useful listing answers the questions a buyer or collector would ask before making the journey.

Photograph the actual material.

Use clear daylight. Show the overall quantity and a close-up of its condition. Remove private addresses, faces, documents and phone numbers from the frame. Never use a stock photo to represent your material.

Be specific without being technical.

“Sorted cardboard boxes, approximately 100 kg each week” gives more useful information than “waste available.” Mention contamination, moisture, mixed materials, dimensions or packaging where relevant.

Make recurring quantities clear.

State the amount per pickup or time period. If your quantity varies, enter an estimate and a maximum. Keep pickup days and collection windows current.

Agree on the whole arrangement.

Check who weighs the material, who loads it, who arranges transport and whether any collection cost applies. Use messages to record your agreement. Do not send advance payments to an unverified stranger.

Start with permitted materials.

Our open marketplace does not accept regulated materials such as hazardous chemicals, biomedical waste, waste batteries, used oil or e-waste. See the prohibited materials policy before posting.
